Drawn by the life and spirit of Jesus,
and missioned by our Bishop,
we the Staff of Holy Family Retreat House,
commit ourselves to live, to pray and to work together
to provide a House of Prayer
for the people of our Diocese.
We will endeavor to create a home
where hospitality, caring
and a relaxed prayerful attitude invite all
who may come to this Holy Ground
- to enter within themselves and
- to communicate with their God,
so that healed by the power of God's love
and soothed into wholeness by the beauty of nature,
they may be empowered to serve God
in each other in peace and joy.
The Retreat House was establised in 1948 for the spiritual growth of the people of the Diocese of London. It has grown to serve the needs of many others.
